24 pre-Kent COVID-19 test sites set up

New COVID-19 testing sites outside of Kent have been set up for truck and van drivers planning to enter France within 72 hours. Under French law they are not permitted to enter the country unless they have tested negative within 72 hours of entering the country.

Those who take such tests at the 24 sites will be given a fast-track access at the Eurotunnel or Dover. It is still possible to get a Kent Access Pass (KAP) without a COVID test, which can be done at Sevington for the Channel Tunnel and at Manston for those heading for Dover.
