Courier company Absolutely have announced it has bought out rival couriers MayDH.

Absolutely’s acquisition includes the freight, international courier, UK overnight and same day operations of the business. This buy out follows on from Absolutely’s two acquisitions, Destinations Green in 2016, as well as Creative Cars & Couriers in September last year.

MayDH have been operating in the international courier and freight industry for over 35 years with an annual turnover of around £2m. The plans are for Absolutely to integrate MayDH’s operations into its own Heathrow operations this summer.

Jeremy Thompson, Managing Director of Absolutely said: “This acquisition will add significant revenue to our Group as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience to our international operations. We have been completely committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all involved and I am pleased to report the integration of MayDH is progressing extremely well.”

Prior to its rebranding as Absolutely in 2016, the firm previously worked under different brand names including Mach 1 Couriers and A-Z Couriers. It fully rebranded all its services to become Absolutely in 2016.
