Content management, translation and digital experience giant SDL has gone into a strategic partnership with Alibaba Cloud with plans to launch a codeveloped solution that is designed to help global brands launch an grow their business into China and Asia. Alibaba Cloud is the cloud computing form of Alibaba Group.
China is both the world’s biggest biggest retail economy yet one of the toughest to crack by Western businesses. Many are drawn to its potential nonetheless. As well as the difficult language involved there are are other complex challenges in cracking that market. Global organisations can now use SDL’s web content management, SDL Tridion DX, and machine translation solutions, hosted on Alibaba Cloud, to deliver next-generation digital experiences – in any language – for customers across Asia.

SDL Tridion DX, which combines the best of web content management with SDL Tridion Sites, and Structured Content Management with SDL Tridion Docs, is supported by machine translation with SDL Enterprise Translation Server (ETS). This approach ensures content is created, managed, translated and delivered to customers in a way that provides one continuous digital experience.
