Amazon has launched its Home Services package in the UK. This is a set of packages where the customer can buy installation of assembly support while ordering big ticket items such as TVs, household appliances and exercise equipment online.

In a statement, Amazon said: “Customers can also browse, purchase and schedule a selection of professional services even if they have bought their products elsewhere.

“Amazon Home Services features a curated list of handpicked tradespeople and service providers who offer upfront pricing with helpful ratings and reviews from verified customers.

The Amazon Home Services package is now available in Birmingham, Greater London, and Manchester, while the firm says “new cities and services will be added over time”.
