Amazon has announced it is opening a quarter-of-a-million square foot fulfilment centre in Rugby geared to handling beers, wines and spirits later this year.
The new building, which will employ 400 staff, is in the final stage of completion. The company is offering £9.50 an hour for the warehouse staff who will also get private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, an employee discount and company pension plan.
“We’re excited to bring opportunities across a wide range of roles including IT, operations, engineering automation and more. We’re encouraging people in the region to apply. Rugby is a great area, we’re really looking forward to opening our new fulfilment centre here later this year,” said Amazon Rugby site leader David Tindal.
