Trade only airfreight and express wholesaler AMI UK has launched a new online Quote&Book system for UK customers. The new portal will only be available for airport – airport export shipments but will eventually be rolled out to airport to door by the end of this year.

AMI was one of the first companies to offer online cargo bookings in the late 1990‘s and has been operating a click2shop system since 2010.

Agents will be able to enter the shipment details at the online portal to get immediate quotes and then be able to filter them according to their needs. The quotes can be stored on the system or emailed to the potential client ahead of a booking.

The system will offer additional services such as a UK wide collection service, NES entries and HAWB production, and deferred or direct services.
