Aramex Australia says it is prepared for the uptick in demand for its services as restrictions are eased after the current lockdown. Logistics is going to be crucial to the economic rebound in the eyes of its CEO, Peter Lipinski.
Lipinski said: “With relaxation of restrictions to be discussed at the National Cabinet meeting on Friday, we know many businesses are preparing to reopen their doors and get back to work.
“Logistics is going to be crucial to a successful recovery for Australia.
“As retail, hospitality venues and other businesses begin to reopen, we expect to see a significant spike in delivery across the nation.
“Our national and international Aramex network is fully operational. We are ready to meet the increase in demand as Australia commences it’s road to recovery.”
As against 2019, the last three months has seen a 30% growth in demand for Aramex Australia’s services thanks to many sectors of e-commerce booming with high street retail in suspension.
“Our 800 plus Courier Franchisees delivering across 28 regional franchise networks, have adapted to the new landscape in recent months and have been going above and beyond every day to deliver the goods that Australians need during these challenging times.”
“Our Couriers have been there for customers throughout the challenging social distancing measures and we look forward to continuing to support our customers in the next stage of recovery,” concluded the Aramex Australia CEO.
