Middle Eastern logistics player Aramex has launched its e-commerce solution Aramex Spot in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Aramex Spot is a pickup/drop-off (PUDO) solution that uses a network of private businesses in the two countries. Aramex state they hope that there will be 150 ‘Spot’ locations across both countries by the end of next year.
Commenting on the launch, Iyad Kamal, chief operating officer of Aramex, said: “We believe this is incredibly important and is in line with our strategy to increase operational efficiency while enhancing customer experience through innovative solutions.
