Online fashion giant ASOS has announced it has added 18,300 new click and collect locations around the world in 2020, expanding its click and collect network to 166,000 locations.
At the same time it is to improve its express delivery offering in 24 markets as well as its standard delivery in five markets.
With an eye on sustainability, ASOS is offering delivery by electric vehicle in W1 and W2 postcodes in London.
With regard the online fashion giant’s infrastructure, it is about to open its Lichfield fulfilment centre and is to support its UK and Ireland territories. Once fit out is complete, the fulfilment centre is to be manually operators with a stockholding of six million units. In 2023 the centre is to be fully automated and capacity is to be expanded to 17 million units.
In addition, ASOS US warehouse in Atlanta is to be fully automated by 2023 and stock capacity is to be increased to 15.5 million units.
