Blue Dart Express takes on new CEO

Major Indian delivery company Blue Dart Express has named its new CEO as Balfour Manuel. He has worked with the company for more than 35 years.

Manuel is to replace Anil Khanna, who has been in post for 12 years. Khanna is to now become a non-executive director of Blue Dart.

The new Blue Dart CEO’s previous role was Senior VP in charge of the company’s B2B business.

Sharad Upasani, Chairman, Blue Dart Express Limited, commented on the appointment: “Manuel is a seasoned logistics professional, deeply committed and passionate about Blue Dart. He has spent his career building the company to where it is today, and has proven his capabilities in leading his team to achieve exceptional business results.

“We are confident Manuel will provide the continued leadership in keeping with the Blue Dart culture, ensuring we keep pace with the rapidly growing market.”
