Following its announcement last week that Belgian bpost was to reintroduce many of its international postal services, the postal operator has announced that it has resumed parcel shipments to five more destinations – Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.
From Wednesday 20th of May bpost customers have been able to drop their letters and parcels in red post boxes and at post offices.
There may be some delays in delivery thanks to the lower than normal availability of international flights to those destinations as well as a backlog of letters and parcels that are being sent, limiting the amount of units a day that can actually be flown there. There are local delivery issues in some of those countries as well that may add to those delays.
