Delivery and fulfilment platform Bringg has announced a global partnership with Uber Direct to improve the delivery experience for Bringg’s and Uber’s customers.
The partnership covers retail and B2B deliveries, and those using Bringg can have seamless access to Uber Direct drivers, enabling them to have same-day and next-day delivery without sacrificing key delivery elements like branding, measurement, visibility, or quality.
The pandemic is a major factor behind the recent explosion in e-commerce deliveries. To meet the surplus of delivery fulfilment needs for customers and to scale delivery capabilities, there is a need for on-demand crowdsourcing options in the wider retail, much as is already done in food retail.
“The world is rapidly changing, and retailers need to adapt to meet customers where they are. Our partnership with Uber provides retailers with more flexibility in the delivery cycle, not only ensuring that our customers get their orders when and where they want, but enables them to do so without compromising quality or profitability in the delivery cycle, which is key to an excellent customer experience and maintaining a healthy business,” said Niko Avrutov, VP of Alliances at Bringg.
