World leading supply chain management company CEVA Logistics, has appointed Ching Guo to be the Senior VP Global Contract Logistics – Technology Operations. Guo will be based in Seattle and will report to the COO Contract Logistics, Brett Bissell.
Guo, who’s last job was at Alibaba where he oversaw the launch of Village Taobao, will have a global and multifunctional role with a specific focus on maintaining excellence and performance across the business’s technology operations to improve customer satisfaction and service levels.
One of Guo’s first priorities will be to define the standardization strategy for current operations in order to drive the continuous improvement program using the company’s KPI database. He will work alongside Solution Design teams to develop more robust globally consistent solutions for customers.
He will also work closely with the business development team to grow new opportunities across the Technology sector with the aim of establishing CEVA as the clear industry leader in this arena.
Guo was a co-founder of the Village Taobao business through Alibaba. He focused on the development of online product information, last mile logistics and digital payments.

Guo holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt in Nashville, USA and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
