Ceva Logistics has won four fashion supply chain management contracts worth $400 million that will last until 2025. The company will handle e-commerce fulfilment, store deliveries, warehousing, international distribution and 4PL services to UK retailers Karen Millen, Oasis, Coast and Warehouse.
The retailers will jointly receive their services through a 25,000 square metre warehouse employing 330 people that will have the capacity to handle 20 million units annually. The semi automated facility handles the processing and storage of hanging and boxed garments as well as fashion accessories.
The facility will initially handle a million units a year, including Warehouse’s eBay end of season sales.
It is very rare for logistics companies to receive such votes of confidence in terms of a ten year contract from four retailers. Michael Donoghue, Ceva UK, Ireland and Nordics MD said of the awards, “Ten year contracts are rarely seen in our industry, and I believe that these are testament to our ability to design truly effective solutions, optimize supply chain operations and provide service quality that stands the test of time.”
