Chee Choong Ng is to be Managing Director of DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau.
Choong’s role will be to use his 20 years’ logistics experience to spearhead the strategic growth and overall operations at Hong Kong and Macau. His predecessor, Herbert Vongpusanachai has been promoted to Country Manager, DHL Express Thailand and Head of Indochina.
As Vice President of Operations at the Hong Kong operation, Choong has worked on the expansion of the on-demand delivery service and also managed the move of the Hong Kong Service Centre and the Kowloon West Service Centre, that together are among the top three service centres in terms of volumes handled worldwide.
