The Xinhua news agency reports that China’s e-commerce logistics activities grew slightly last month after a fall for the previous two months.
The reports of growth comes from a survey by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and the e-commerce giant JD.com. The survey went into an index that rose to 108.2 points in June from 107.5 points in May.
There had been two months where demand for e-commerce logistics fell but there has been a recent boom in activities thanks to online marketplaces like Alibaba and JD.com.
Rural areas saw growth in demand for the fourth consecutive month, while total e-commerce sales grew as well.
