Co-op grocery shopping via Amazon

Co-op customers can buy their goods from Amazon Grocery for the first time. After shoppers buy them from the Amazon app or website, goods will be picked at local stores and delivered by Amazon.

The new offer from Amazon is to begin in select postcodes in Glasgow, and will enable people to do their full Co-op grocery shop from the Amazon app or website. There are plans to expand the service across the UK ahead of Christmas.

The launch of Co-op on means Prime members in Glasgow will be able to use Co-op on Amazon as part of the benefits, at no extra cost, wherever it is available. Prime provides access to the best of Amazon, and we are looking forward to being able to expand the offering to more of the UK throughout the course of the year”, said John Boumphrey, Amazon UK Country Manager.
