France based carrier Colis Privé has begun operations in Luxembourg, Belgium and Morocco, operating under the Parcel Privé brand. It is to develop its interests in the three countries through subsidiaries and local operators.
“The deployment of Parcel Privé internationally is a real strategic opportunity. We have identified local partners and some of our customers have already indicated to us their wish to accompany us to these new countries. Our model has developed around an offer entirely dedicated to e-commerce, whose success depends on the quality of its services, speed of execution at competitive rates and the crucial importance of customer satisfaction. It is this unique know-how but also our DNA that we want to offer to our international customers today,” said Frédéric Pons, co-president of Parcel Privé.
For the two European countries, Parcel Privé is to be based on an optimised logistics scheme processing orders quickly and efficiently to make next day deliveries in and the afternoon and evening. It will rely on its sorting hub in Willebroek near Antwerp. Some 90% of its vehicles will be electric.
The Morocco operations will involve a license agreement with local operators who will benefit from the French company’s knowhow in home and relay delivery as well as technologies it will supply.
