To help speed up the process of parcel pick up / drop off (PUDO) services at participating Collect+ stores, PayPoint has announced the introduction of StoreScan that enables store to process parcels quickly and easily via their mobile devices.
The Collect+ StoreScan system is available on iOS and Android. PUDO services can now be processed from anywhere in the store, freeing up counter space and reducing customer waiting times.
It has been designed based on feedback from participating Collect+ retailers. Now up to 10 mobile devices per location can use the app, and it can also work when the PayPoint terminal is being used at the same time. For busier stores this means people can be deployed more effectively without queues forming while parcels are being processed.
Available to download now from the App Store and Google Play, the app has been launched in time for peak parcel season, helping retailers to increase efficiency and enhance customer service in store during the busiest time of the year.
