The alternative banking and payments group Contis has indicated that it would like to work with postal services across Europe to supply contactless payment cards to postal services’ banking clients.
The company has just announced that it will be distributing contactless prepaid and visa cars to its client base in UK and Europe. It wishes to expand its client base by working with operators in the postal sector.
With many services that postal operators provide being loss making they must diversify into other areas of business, and with the success of the UK’s Post Office Money, it is widely understood that this field can be profitable. Contis already works with many other business sectors around the world.
