DHL delivers for Rugby World Cup

Official Logistics Partner of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, DHL, has been delivering the goods for all the teams involved.

Whether moving all the teams’ gear and freight – 48.2 tonnes of it for 20 teams – or taking the Webb Ellis Cup around the world and to 100 locations around the UK, DHL has been busy making things happen behind the scenes.

The international logistics company has also been responsible for delivering tickets to people around the world, stadium fit out and infrastructure, as well as moving doping samples to the World Anti Doping Authority labs for testing.

CEO of DHL Express Ken Allen said of the event, “Harnessing our global network capabilities and working behind-the-scenes throughout the Tournament, DHL is committed to delivering a seamless logistics operation so that the players and their support teams can focus on bringing their best game to the pitch.”
