DHL Express Australia improves customer experience

DHL Express has opened a customer service facility in Brisbane, Australia. It has also opened a number of SwipBox parcel terminals in the same site.

Some 320 employees are to work in the new unit, including customer service, customer account management and customer-facing IT functions. The site also has capacity for an additional 20% of extra staff capacity as the business grows.

The new customer service site is to have SwipBox parcel lockers that are open on the ground floor between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. These add to the 1000 parcel collection points across Australia, that the company has signalled will increase to 1,500 by the end of the year.
