DHL Express (Ireland) Ltd saw pre-tax profits at the end of financial year 18/19 grow by 13% to €3.14 million. Revenues grew by 6% to €98.5 million.

Directors at DHL Express Ireland at the company say that international air express shipments were behind the growth.

They added that with the profit for the period, the firm “has delivered another successful year of growth in 2018”.

In the same financial year, five new staff joined the division of the German logistics giant, taking the team to 361 members. This added to staff costs, bringing them from €19.66 million to €19.87 million.
