DHL group invests heavily in digitisation

In a trading statement, Deutsche Post DHL Group revelled its new corporate strategy and announced its plans to invest €2bn in digitising the company between now and 2025.

The strategy is entitled ‘Strategy 2025 – Delivering excellence in a digital world’, and focuses hard on the Group’s core logistics and delivery businesses with the aim of generating long-term profitable growth.

Meanwhile the digitisation investment would  directed into “modernising IT systems, integrating new technologies and offering employees targeted advanced training to enable them to use these technologies”.
