DPD has expanded its Pickup Network and will run one of the biggest click and collect parcel delivery services in Europe with over 20,000 outlets across the region.
With the latest expansion, 95% of European citizens will be within 15 minutes of a DPD pick up point in 13 countries. DPD Group brands including Interlink Express, SEUR, Chronopost and DPD all serve the Pick Up Drop Off (PUDO) network.
The UK service has now expanded to 2000 PUDO points across the islands, while SEUR in Spain has extended its network to 1600.
In France, DPD is piloting a network of automatic lockers that will be able to handle 100 parcels a day, 24 / 7, as well as dedicated stores in busy metropolitan locations that will go into direct competition with businesses such as Doddle.
DPD is now planning on expanding its PUDO network into Poland and Russia.
