Delivery giant DPD has announced it is about to move into its new £12 million distribution centre at Vertex Park, South Gloucestershire.
Louise Ferguson, general manager of property at DPD, commented: “We’re excited that our new centre at Vertex Park has been completed and we’re getting ready to move in. We’ll soon be able to start delivering parcels from here which means we will be able to provide an even higher level of service for customers in this region.”
Ferguson added: “State-of-the-art distribution centres like this give us a huge advantage over our competitors in terms of automated efficiency and scale, as well as making sure we have capacity for future growth.”
On the northern edge of Bristol, Vertex Park is well served by major roads including access to the A4, M4, and M5. Both connected to the country’s sixth largest city and with access to one of the largest crossroads in the UK, the site is an ideal location for DPD’s business in moving parcels between clients and customers.
