DPDgroup and Asendia USA to offer US-Europe deliveries

La Groupe La Poste owned Asendia USA and DPDgroup are to offer US based e-commerce retailers parcel delivery to Europe via DPDgroup.

Asendia is jointly owned by La Groupe La Poste and Swiss Post, and uses smart technologies to support e-commerce companies to grow internationally. Core to the offer is e-PAQ, a specialist range of international packet and parcel services designed for online retailers. With DPDgroup this is being developed into e-PAQ Elite for US customers.

“This new service is a fantastic opportunity to enlarge the Asendia USA service range. The cooperation between Asendia and DPDgroup will enable US e-commerce companies to seamlessly access the DPD Predict Service from collection in the US to delivery to the overseas recipient. Our US customers will now be able to offer shoppers a faster service at a cost competitive price point,” said Robert DiVincenzo, CEO, Asendia USA

The service meets the demands of customers for rapid delivery with multiple options, which is well within DPDgroup’s capabilities. Its range of services are aimed to make the delivery experience for retailer and shopper alike. These include Predict and myDPD, which offer services such as live tracking, delivery rescheduling and a one-hour delivery window through the myDPD portal.
