DX Group and the GMB union have agreed an out of court settlement regarding an employment tribunal claim by six of DX Group’s GMB members.

In a statement, GMB said that “before the case reached the employment tribunal GMB and DX reached a ‘satisfactory settlement’”.

The GMB has taken on a number of delivery companies including Addison Lee, Uber and Hermes over the issue and won.

Mick Rix, GMB National Officer, commented: “GMB and DX are pleased to confirm that a satisfactory settlement has been agreed regarding an employment tribunal claim brought by six GMB members.

“In addition, DX and GMB will be entering into meaningful discussions over the course of the next six months to discuss future working practices for couriers at DX.”
