Multi-carrier shipping software provider Parcelhub has announced a partnership with DX Group that will give clients access to ‘pooled volume’ discounted rates with the troubled delivery company.
Mark Rosenberg, Managing Director of Parcelhub commented: “Introducing DX’s suite of services further strengthens our multi-carrier proposition, enhancing our range of carrier partners which also includes Yodel, Hermes, DPD, UK Mail, DHL, Whistl, UPS, Parcelforce, CollectPlus, SkyNet, ArrowXL, Interpost, Panther Logistics, Direct Link and Palletforce.”
Shellea Crosby, DX Head of Wholesale, said: “DX are delighted to build on our existing relationship with Parcelhub, and by offering our complete portfolio of services, we expect a significant increase in volumes placed through our networks. Parcelhub have proven to be a like-minded business who we are very comfortable working with, and we look forward to continuing to develop our partnership, bringing real benefits to both parties.”
DX has made a series of announcements that may well be set to put it on firm ground after a decidedly difficult 12 months to date, including a loan from its biggest shareholder to pay off debts. The Parcelhub deal may well enable the delivery firm to get new clients through the Parcelhub channel and (hopefully) set it toward greater profitability in the near term.
