UPS is to be offered as an integrated delivery option to eBay sellers on its global marketplace in a new partnership between the two companies. All sellers will have the option by the end of September.
Until now, eBay has mostly worked with FedEx and the US Postal Service in the US. Now through the integration of UPS, sellers will be able to download eBay labels for the parcel operator. The system brings together their order details, customer information, label printing and shipment tracking in one place.
For sellers this offers new flexibility in delivery options as well as the opportunity to send parcels up to six days a week including Saturdays (where available). In the US this will include the following UPS services: UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air Saver, and UPS Next Day Air.
