Parcel Monkey’s delivery management system ETrak has announced it is using postal software suppliers Hurricane Commerce’s Aura API for a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) solution for cross border e-commerce.
The Hurricane Commerce Aura API allows merchants to calculate taxes and duties on shipments via a landed cost engine. It can also screen out prohibited and restricted goods as well as denied parties.
Thanks to Brexit and other regulatory barriers to sending cross-border parcels a DDP solution has become increasingly important for e-commerce merchants. Parcel Monkey’s ETrak will meet demand for these element of cross border shipping.
