Last mile delivery player FedEx Express has improved its trans-Tasman services of five overnight deliveries a week between Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
The first phase of two will involve speeding up deliveries between customers as well as increased cargo capacity from this month. The next phase begins in April where FedEx International Economy Distribution will be introduced for bulk shipments.
Peter Langley, vice president FedEx Express Australasia, said, “We are proud to be launching these service enhancements across New Zealand and Australia, which provide local customers great service and global connectivity on this key trade lane.
“We are looking forward to building on our existing operational strength to create more possibilities for customers, and deliver a seamless customer experience.”
