US Class 5 to Class 8 commercial electric van manufacturers Xos Inc has announced FedEx Ground has ordered 120 electric vans for 35 of its operators in five states in the US.
The new vans will be delivered to the operators in California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Texas in the fourth financial quarter of the year. Discussions with FedEx are continuing about selling the logistics giant more zero emissions vans across these and other states are continuing.
