FedEx to spend $200 million on community projects by 2020

The FedEx Global Citizenship Report has shown that the global logistics company is on track to meet its FedEx Cares goal of investing $200 million in more than 200 global communities by 2020. The report focuses on its social responsibility in the areas of company economy, people, and environment.

Key elements of the company’s CSR strategy includes environmental efficiency innovations, a sustainable supply chain, a diverse and inclusive workplace, and the robust giving and volunteering platform known as FedEx Cares.

In 2018 FedEx had invested more than $55 million in corporate charitable contributions.

“The annual FedEx Global Citizenship Report outlines our efforts to deliver positive outcomes and reflects the contributions FedEx Express Europe makes,” said FedEx Express Europe president, Bert Nappier.

“As we continue to build Europe’s premier logistics business, this report sets our vision and priorities for corporate social and environmental responsibility, and our progress towards these as we proudly work to deliver positive change in our communities.”
