Royal Mail’s Amsterdam based international parcel firm GLS has added Italy, Portugal, Finland and Bulgaria to its international FlexDeliveryService.
The service now includes 21 countries around Europe. With the FlexDeliveryService, parcel recipients can adapt their delivery for an online purchase made in another country.
“The addition of four more countries to the network of markets already connected by the service is another milestone in our pan-European FlexDeliveryService”, says Anne Putz, Head of Communication and Marketing at the GLS Group.
“Web shops and their customers, in particular, will benefit from this, as delivery according to the recipient’s choice complements an international shopping experience.”
Under the GLS service, shipping and tracking information will be sent to the recipient in their home language. They can then manage the time and location of the delivery, which can include PUDO points and parcel shops.
