Following a successful pilot inside the M25, natural remedies and supplements retailer Holland & Barrett is rolling out its click & collect service across the UK.
Holland & Barrett’s online customers can pick up their purchases in any of its 760 stores, or can choose to use an InPost locker instead. Apex Insight reported on Holland & Barrett’s new relationship with InPost at the beginning of this week.
The roll out of the service follows a successful pilot of the click & collect service inside the M25 area, and says that it will now roll this out nationally through a ‘phased expansion’ over the next two months.
Anyone who orders online before 8pm can then pick up their products in their chosen store on the following day. Holland & Barrett currently fulfils close to 100,000 orders every month via its hollandandbarrett.com website.
In addition, customers of the Holland & Barrett sister brand, sports nutrition brand MetRx.co.uk can also benefit because they will be able to use the same click & collect service, collecting their orders at any Holland & Barrett store. Holland & Barrett shoppers will also be able to pick up their orders from MetRx stores as well.
Commenting on the click and collect rollout, Head of Direct for Holland & Barrett International, Gordon Hewlett, said the service was “essential to serve an increasingly younger and tech savvy customer”.
The click and collect service builds on Holland & Barrett’s existing delivery options. It currently ships to around 30 countries from its dedicated warehouse in the Midlands and already ships to Parcel Shops in the UK.
