JAS Worldwide acquires Tigers

US freight forwarding services provider JAS Worldwide has acquired Hong Kong based freight forwarders Tigers from La Poste parcels division Geopost.

Tigers was founded in Hong Kong in 2011 and now has 70 offices in 10 countries, 32 of which are omnichannel distribution hubs. It has developed a suite of tech-enabled integrated logistics services from freight forwarding to omnichannel supply chain management for a number of large corporate clients globally. It employs 935 people.

Marco Rebuffi, CEO of JAS, commented on the agreement: “Through the acquisition of Tigers, JAS is broadening its range of logistics services, adding omnichannel supply chain management capabilities, supported by advanced digital solutions, to help our customers ramp up their B2C e-commerce operations.

“JAS’s and Tigers’ teams share the same entrepreneurial spirit that has underpinned the success of both companies and will ensure the continuous development of the enlarged group,” he added.
