JDA acquires Blue Yonder

Global logistics software providers JDA Software Inc has completed its acquisition of Blue Yonder, the retail and supply chain artificial intelligence solutions provider.

According to a statement from JDA, “customers across vertical industries will be able to leverage a first of its kind end-to-end supply chain solution with AI/ML intelligence built-in that enables them to better plan, analyze, execute and deliver across their operations on a cognitive, connected platform.”

The acquisition by JDA accelerates its autonomous supply chain capabilities, that connect intelligent systems and data, Enabling automated and more profitable business decisions, and is delivering optimise customer experiences. The Blue Yonder SaaS solutions, according to JDA, “deliver rapid time-to-value and game-changing business value – also further fuel development of the JDA Luminate cognitive SaaS platform and solutions.”
