International smart parcel locker providers SwipBox have appointed Jens Rom as CEO of the company as of the 1st June.
Rom replaces Allan Kaczmarek who founded the company and has been in post since 2016, overseeing the company’s expansion across several markets.
Kaczmarek commented: “This is something I have wanted for a while and I am very happy that Jens has agreed to become the CEO of SwipBox. We are fortunate to have someone of his caliber and experience to lead SwipBox. We believe SwipBox Infinity represents a window of opportunity and with Jens Rom as CEO we can take full advantage. I’m excited to get back to work with my first passion – technology and innovation of new products and will now focus on the further developments of SwipBox’ platforms. ”
Rom joined SwipBox earlier this year as the company’s Chief Business Development Officer. Prior to that, he has over 30 years of top management experience, both domestically and internationally, with his latest role as Country Manager for Bring in Denmark and Finland.
Rom said: “I am honoured and excited to step in as CEO of SwipBox. For years, I have admired SwipBox as a company which is all about innovation, quality and forward thinking and I am happy to now be leading this great company.”
Based in Denmark, SwipBox now operates parcel lockers in more than 60 countries worldwide. The company develops the software behind the parcel lockers as well as the machines themselves.
