UK hot food delivery company Just Eat Takeaway is significantly expanding its operations in Ireland with the addition of a new 20,000 square foot national headquarters office in Dublin.
The new Ireland headquarters are to open in February next year, and is planned to have room for new staff as the company expands further. It has seen strong growth in the country in the last year or so and expects this to continue. Both customer numbers and restaurants signed up to Just Eat have grown. The company says that the reopening of hospitality venues have not impacted growth.
“A continued increase in demand for our services has justified this investment and we are very excited about what the future holds for us here,” said Amanda Roche-Kelly, managing director at Just Eat Ireland.
Just Eat is hiring for new roles in customer services, office management and facilities who will take up their new roles in the Dublin office.
“With the welcome reopening of the hospitality sector, many of the independent restaurants that offered delivery for the first time in the past year have continued to maintain that as a key part of their business over the past number of months and intend to maintain it for the long-term. In addition, those that always offered a delivery service have responded to evolving consumer choices and the increased demand by broadening the choices available and hours of opening.”
