US based doughnut retailer Krispy Kreme has announced it is to use on-demand delivery platform Stuart for doughnut deliveries in London.
Stuart’s platform is integrated with Krispy Kreme’s website for the one hour delivery service. This is at pilot phase but could well be rolled out across the UK.
Stuart’s system is connected to a fleet of independent couriers, some 60% of which use low or zero emissions vehicles.
Emma Colquhoun, chief marketing officer at Krispy Kreme said: “We are all about putting smiles on our customers’ faces and our new doughnut delivery service now allows Krispy Kreme doughnuts to arrive at your door within the hour or as a scheduled delivery. Launching this service has also opened up a new gifting channel for the brand; making it as simple as a click of button to arrange doughnuts to be sent to your colleagues, friends or family.”
