US based B2B post office box network Mailboxes Etc (MBE Global) has acquired PostNet International Franchise Corp. PostNet is a printing and shipping franchise with 660 outlets in nine countries.

PostNet say that their acquisition will give MBE Global “a strong presence in the U.S., South Africa and several other countries where the PostNet brand is well established and will continue to grow”.  Taken together, the two companies will have a reach of nearly 2,300 locations in 33 countries.

After the acquisition is complete, Brian Spindel will continue as President and COO of PostNet. He will report to Paolo Fiorelli, who is the Chairman and CEO of MBE Global. The founder and former Chairman of PostNet Steve Greenbaum, will serve as a consultant to MBE Global on a number of strategic matters. In addition, PostNet will remain headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado and retain much of its leadership team. The two companies will also continue using their individual names.
