DPD Local (until the week before last, Interlink Express) has teamed up with Parcel2Go to launch a new website for the consumer and small business markets.
The new website is now at dpdlocal-online.co.uk
As reported in Apex Insight, DPD announced the rebranding of Interlink Express as DPD Local on the 3rd of February.
David Sorensen, Managing Director Enterprise solutions at Parcel2Go, said, “We’re pleased to be working with DPDgroup and to have been a part of the launch of their fantastic new brand.”
CEO James Greenbury added: “This is our 16th such website partnership since expanding into enterprise solutions. We’re particularly grateful for the chance to work with one of the major technology leaders in our industry.”
DPD Local uses the same technology and services as sister company DPD, but focuses on providing a more local service for shippers with smaller volumes. DPD Group is one of the leading delivery companies in Europe, providing deliveries for e-commerce and retail clients across a number of countries. DPD Local is one of the anomalies to the distinct brand of DPD and bringing its branding in-house as with the technologies that it operates on shows the public that the companies are one and the same.
