Nightline opens new Dublin facility

International courier company Nightline has officially opened a new 30,000 square metre facility in Dublin. The €2 million depot at the North City Business Park will solely service Nightline’s Parcel Motel network of customer collection centres across the Irish Republic.

More than 160,000 people regularly use the Parcel Motel network, which has outlets in towns across Ireland. The Dublin facility, which was opened in a ceremony attended vu Ireland’s Minister for Communications, will aim to match growing demand from online shoppers in Eire.

Nightline claim that the Irish Republic’s e-commerce market is one of the fastest growing in the whole of Europe, with demand set to rise significantly in the coming years. The Parcel Motel network has handled over 1.5 million parcels in the last year alone.
