Estonian Omniva has expanded eight of its parcel machines and added one to a new location where parcel locker demand has been particularly high.
Seven parcel machines have been expanded across the country and added a new one at Laulasmaa Selver ABC. Head of Omniva’s parcel locker network Indrek Kaus says that the extensions and additions are helping to cope with the increased parcel volumes thanks to the pandemic causing e-commerce to boom. “We see that the spring months have brought us parcel volumes similar to Christmas season, each additional cabinet is a great help right now. We can bring more parcels to our customers and the customers can receive their parcels more conveniently.
Since 2018, Omniva has added more than 118 parcel lockers to its national network, and the parcels operator now has around 250 nationwide.
