Oscar de Bok is to be a member of the Deutsche Post DHL Group board. Beginning on 1st October, he is to succeed John Gilbert who has decided to leave the board for personal reasons.
Until recently, de Bok was CEO of DHL Supply Chain Mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa. He originally joined the company in 1999 when the company acquired Nedlloyd – at the other company he had worked in sales and project management. He rose to be Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain for several countries and regions such as Italy, the Nordics and South-East Asia.
