Othman Alijeda to be new Aramex CEO

Othman Aljeda is to be the new CEO of Middle Eastern logistics giant Aramex. He is to work with outgoing CEO Bashar Obeid for a transition period.

Othman has been at Aramex since 1994 and rose through the ranks. In 2017 he was the company’s regional CEO in Europe and in 2020 added to this role as interim Chief Operating Officer of Aramex Group for six months.

Captain Mohamed Juma Alshamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aramex, said: “We congratulate Othman and welcome him as the new CEO of Aramex.
