Panther Logistics adds 20 new trucks to fleet

Northampton based two-person delivery company Panther Logistics has taken delivery of 35 new MAN TGX trucks that provide improved efficiency while enabling the company to manage growth in demand for its services.

At the same time as taking delivery of the new trucks, Panther Logistics has received 20 new trailers and adopted a new livery for the business that reflects the purchase of the business by AIT Worldwide Logistics last year.

All of the lorries delivered to Panther Logistics meet the London Direct Vision Standard and can operate in London thanks to the five cameras that have been added to the vehicles.

Panther’s Logistics director Guy Burgess said: “This significant investment demonstrates how dedicated Panther is to growth and delivering our customers the best service in the sector.

“It will also deliver significant cost savings and efficiency thanks to MAN’s market-leading fuel economy.”

The fuel economy should reduce the company’s CO2 emissions significantly even as it grows its business.
