Panther to launch new delivery services

Panther Warehousing, the specialist one and two man delivery company, has announced that it is to introduce a new suite of services.

Set to go live from the 1st September, the new services will include:

Customers will be offered a two hour delivery window.

Customers will be able to order as late as 2200 the previous day for next day delivery.

Sunday delivery is being offered too.

Panther will be able to collect goods on a Saturday or a Sunday for a Monday delivery. Panther will also collect from their customers on a Bank Holiday Monday for delivery on the Tuesday.

Commenting on the new services, Colin McCarthy, Managing Director of Panther, said: “As online shopping, particularly within both the home furnishings and consumer electronics sector, continues to grow it is essential that we continue to support the market in order to meet the needs of customers.

“Since the beginning of 2016 we have invested over £2m in the development of a wider product offering.  Our new portfolio of services are once again an industry first and ones which we believe will revolutionise the home delivery marketplace and help our customers to compete in a very challenging sector.”

Panther introduced its two-man next-day white glove delivery service in 2011.

The firm has a workforce of 800 staff and operates a fleet of over 300 fully-liveried vehicles plus a new fleet of Mercedes Sprinter vans.

The launch of the new services come just months after the company underwent an £17m management buyout backed by private equity firm LDC.
