Parcelforce Worldwide has announced it has redesigned its customer facing mobile app. The app has new features to improve the sending and receiving experience.
The first feature added to the Parcelforce app is a new ‘quick quote’ option for retailers. At the receiving end, customers can divert a parcel to a Post Office branch or neighbours should they not be at home at the time of delivery. The app now includes links to social media channels, FAQs and access to customer services teams.
In addition existing features of the app have been improved. The ‘My Parcel Live’ program now provides real time tracking, giving a delivery time on the day. The app itself has been improved for usability.
A spokesperson from Parcelforce Worldwide said “We have redesigned our app to help our customers and recipients to easily select how, when and where their parcels are delivered to. We want to establish the app as the primary communication channel for recipients of our parcels.”
